I would also humbly encourage everyone to express hakaras hatov by sending an e-mail (it takes 2 minutes to fill out the contact form on their websites) to Senators Schumer, Graham, and Cardin for saying that any ceasefire must provide for Israel's security. Other Senators, e.g. Ted Cruz, also deserve our thanks and support. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for President Obama and Secretary Kerry.
I rarely call you out for bias, but your biases must be the only reason you left out other sponsoring organizations like Agudah. Right?

DeleteThe link was lav davka meant for you. It was for anyone who wants to check what organizations chose to participate. I should have put it in the post l'chatchila bit neglected to.
ReplyDeleteMy wife has encouraged me to not speak negatively, so I will just say that whatever organizations have stepped up to arrange this, whatever camps are bussing kids in from the mountains to participate, whatever groups from synagogues are going, they all deserve to be commended.
