chazak chazak chazak

Aruch haShulchan 139:15:

 ודע דבקרא ד"לא ימוש" כתיב: "חזק ואמץ". ומזה נהגו לומר למסיים ספר "חזק חזק ונתחזק!" 
ויש רוצים שיאמרו "חזק" שלוש פעמים שהם במספר "משה", ונכון הוא.

    va'yichtov Moshe es-ha'Torah ha'zos va'yitnah el-ha'kohanim, Devarim 31:9.


    "chazak" -- 'va'yichtov', it was in Moshe's >handwriting<.

    "chazak" -- 'Moshe' doubles here as both referent and >signature<! the nave hereby signed the Torah.

    "chazak" -- Moshe handed the object he possessed over into the possession of the priests.
